Below you can find out a little more about each of the acts appearing at our next show:

November 26th: Michael Fabbri, Rob Coleman and Keith Farnan

KEITH FARNAN

Having appeared on BBC’s Michael Mcintyre Comedy Roadshow as well as adapting his own comedy documentary for RTE, Money, Money, Money: Keith Farnan versus the Economy, Keith has just topped an outstanding eighteen months by appearing at the Montreal Just For Laughs All Access show for the Canadian Comedy Network and Hollands highest rating comedy show, The Comedy Factory. In America, Showtime have had Keith appear on their new standup show, Live From Amsterdam, which brings together the best American and European comedians working today.

He has performed as a stand-up all over the world, from Montreal to Amsterdam to Hong Kong. His four Edinburgh Festival shows have proved a powerful mix of the personal and the political and have sold out their runs at the major comedy festivals in the UK as well as the Soho Theatre and Royal Festival Hall in London.

Other TV credits include the Comedy Channel’s Live at the Comedy Store, RTE’s The Social, BBC 3’s Most Annoying People, BBCNI’s One Night Stand and BBC 3’s Olympics Greatest Moments. Radio appearances include BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends and BBC Scotland’s The Guessing Game with Clive Anderson as well as Colin Murphy’s Great Unanswered Questions for BBCNI. He has written for RTE’s Satirical panel show “That’s All We’ve Got Time For”. He was a recent winner of the Irish Times/Fishamble Tiny Plays contest and has been commissioned to write a play, The Last Stevedore as well as film treatments for various projects.  He has also written for Time Out London, Hot Press and The Irish Post.

“Brilliant, thought-provoking and laugh out loud funny” – Time Out
“Artful, satirical…with a lightness of touch and a hefty helping of roguish Celtic charm” – The Sunday Times
“Farnan will make you think hard and laugh even harder” – The List
“If Eddie Izzard had been Irish, he’d surely have turned out a lot like Keith Farnan” – The Scotsman
“This is political comedy at its best, perfectly balanced, deadly serious and very funny” – The Skinny
Time Out Critics Choice – London, New York, Hong Kong and Dubai!

DAN EVANS

Dan Evans first appeared on the comedy circuit in 1994, shortly afterwards leaving a promising career as one of East Anglia’s leading office menials to go full time.

Since then Dan's accessible but childish surrealism has delighted audiences throughout the UK and Ireland. He's also had his grammar corrected by Dutch and German crowds; performed for chubby sweating ex-pats in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Thailand, and is one of just two UK comics to play Hanoi, Vietnam.

Dan’s TV and radio appearances include Brain Candy (BBC), Channel 5 at The Store, Channel 5 Comedy Zone and the Radio 2 Stand Up Show.

He writes too, with many credits including The Very World of Milton Jones (R4 – Sony Award Winner), Rory Bremner Who Else? (CH 4), The Eleven O’Clock Show(CH 4), The Live Floor Show (BBC 1), Revolver (BBC 1) and The Joan Rivers Position (CH 5).

Dan also dabbles in crime fiction, so why not check out his first book of short stories 'Tales From the Casebook of D.I. Snaith'.

“a favourite with audiences as well as with his notoriously hard-to-please comedic peers” - The Guardian
“original and inventive” - The Times
“skillful and surreal” - The Scotsman
“At his best, Dan Evans is reminiscent of Harry Hill – but with none of the extravagant vaudevillian showmanship. His material is just as silly and playful, but is delivered in low-key conversational style.” - Chortle

ROB COLEMAN

Rob Coleman is a very versatile act. He performs a mix of beautifully written gags and truish stories, together with some audience banter. He also possesses one of the finest heads of hair on the circuit.

Over the years he has learned life lessons such as - 'never take a first date to watch you perform comedy' and 'there are no 24 hour petrol stations in rural Wales.'

He has become increasingly grumpy and his comedy focuses on (amongst other things) politeness, getting old and the joys of long term relationships.

Away from stand up he recently rowed across the Atlantic, becoming a world record holder in the process, and lives on a farm in rural Leicestershire.

"Very strong and extremely funny ...a naturally funny man." - Bedfordshire News
"Presence a plenty and material to match" - One 4 Review
"What a nice man. Full of one-liners, he had the packed venue in fits of laughter...." - The Jokers Club
